Ignite the Dream

In many tribal cultures, it was said that if the boys were not initiated into manhood, if they were not shaped by the skills and love of elders, then they would destroy the culture. If the fires that innately burn inside youths are not intentionally and lovingly added to the hearth of community, they will burn down the structures of culture, just to feel the warmth.

Too many of the young’s dreams are dying. Despair, self-righteousness, and anger have become a norm. We humans have vast capabilities yet how many of us choose a victimization mentality?

There is an antidote. My students and I have been discovering ways out of the maze. It’s based on the science of how our human equipment functions best. How do we humans learn most effectively?
And scientifically, how do we feel well whether it’s socially, emotionally, or mentally?
Once those qualities and practices are identified, do we have the tools and skillful means to offer every young adult the ability to make these choices for themselves?
We do.
And there is no need any additional school funding or extensive teaching training.
The good news is that anyone can join us in this one-of-a-kind adventure that is based on who you truly are.
You are good enough as is.
You only have to figure out what your “is” is.
