Imagine if you hadn’t met the adult(s) who recognized you for who you truly are? And that understanding was so strong, you believed it too? When I was growing up, it was usually the teacher.
Can you remember the circumstance when he or she said just the right thing to you? Do you remember the words or the reason?
If we haven’t been subjected with too many layers of fear, loathing and loneliness, we believe that we are all good enough as is. Figuring out what the “is” is, is the tizzy.
At the Kuriosity Lab, we’re providing tools for teachers to reach those students too often doused in negative conditioning. And on their own, students can access these tools when they choose.
